Crossfit Brisbane 2012 "Again Faster" Hard'nup Challenge

We are excited to announce the 2012 "Again Faster" Hard'nup Challenge to be held in the Velodrome at the Sleeman Sports Complex in Brisbane on 11th & 12th of February 2012. The event will be the first of it's kind in Australia, bringing the community together for a 2 day festival of CrossFit.
Olympic Weightlifting Competition
- Australian Weightlifting Federation Rules
- Open to all competitors
- Prizemoney on offer
Individual "All-Comers" Competition
- CrossFit Style Event
- Open to all competitors but aimed at the experienced/advanced CrossFitter
- Top three places offered wildcard entry into the Elite Invitational Competition
Team Competition
- CrossFit Style Event
- Open to all competitors, allowance made for all skill and experience levels
- Prizes on offer to the winning teams
Elite Invitational Competition
- Challenging CrossFit competition, survival of the fittest
- By invitation only, chosen from the best competitive CrossFitters in the Region
- Guest celebrity CrossFitters
- Prizemoney on offer

Invitations have been sent out for the Elite Invitational Competition. If you haven’t received an invitation, but think you have what it takes to compete with the best CrossFitters in the region, send an email to info@crossfitbrisbane.com include your best competition results and why you think you should be invited.
Mark the 11th & 12th of February in your diary. This is going to be a great weekend of CrossFit competition for athletes and spectators alike!

Gym Times over Xmas
The gym will be open 4.45pm on Wed 28th, Thur 29th and Fri 30th
and Sat 31st at 8.30am and Tues 3rd January at 4.45

I hope everybody apart from Ben and Damo will compete in the League and the JME
National Club Tournament
Also as a club we are trying to get everybody to lift in the National Club Tournament in Melbourne March 23-25th we won it the last few years and its a great get together of Australian weightlifting as anybody that can lift a weight over 26Kg can enter see http://www.awf.com.au/competitions/club/11/club11.aspx for last years rules
This year its also an olympic games qualifying event.

Please remember Januarys fees also need to include the $50 yearly club membership
Mike Keelan Shield
Congratulations to Lad Singh who lifted an impressive 150, 168 to win the Mike Keelan Shield on his last lift
Its great to see him back in good form after sustaining a hand injury playing Kabaddi - i hope he stays away from playing it in the future !
